CUYAMA OAKS RANCH:
RAQUEL'S BIRTHDAY GLAMPING LOCATION
If you’re like us, you were watching Vanderpump Rules last night.. and maybe a little conflicted about loving where Raquel was celebrating her birthday in amazing glamping style, but unsure how you feel about wanting to copy Raquel on ANYTHING? After some soul searching, we decided that glamping wasn’t the problem and tracked down the location! It’s none other than Cuyama Oaks Ranch, nestled deep within the hidden valley of enchantment in New Cuyama, California.
ABOUT CUYAMA OAKS RANCH
Cuyama Oaks Ranch is an 82-acre private and secluded property located off HWY 166, about a 2 hour drive away from Los Angeles. It promises to give you and your family an experience to remember, with private glamping options ranging from fully stocked yurts to bring-your-own-RV/trailer for the ultimate glamping experience for the whole crew. And that’s not all – the ranch also features a petting zoo, hiking trails with access to nearby trailheads, and stunning 360-degree mountain views.
THE ACCOMMODATIONS:
SOLAR POWERED YURTS
First up is Yurt 1, the same one the girls stayed in during the episode. This luxurious yurt sleeps up to four guests and offers stunning panoramic views of the ranch. This spacious 19-foot canvas bell tent includes two memory-foam queen mattresses, hot showers with soap provided, gas grills with propane, a mini fridge, cooler, hammock, fire-pit, coffee bar, s’mores, 1000-watt battery pack with solar panels to charge your phone, games to keep you busy, utensils, plates, and much more.
If you’re looking for a more intimate glamping experience, check out Yurt 3 (Yurt 2currently isn’t listed on it’s own, that’s not a typo!) where the boys stayed in the episode. This yurt sleeps up to two guests (without an additional rented mattress) and is nestled near the bottom of the property. You’ll enjoy full 360-degree views of the valley from this yurt. a 6ft x 3ft steel pool for hot days.
Both yurts have access to hot showers with soap provided, gas grills with propane, a mini fridge, cooler, hammock, fire-pit, coffee bar, s’mores, 1000-watt battery pack with solar panels, games, utensils, plates, and more. Note that the yurts have heaters set up until May 1, so if you’re planning a glamping adventure during the cooler months, be sure to take advantage of this cozy amenity.
Cuyama Oaks Ranch also offers group sites for those who want to bring the whole crew along for the ride. For about $300 per night, you can secure an extra communal area that can pack up to 16 more people with either your own tents or campers (or rent another Yurt that can be setup upon request for just an extra $150 and sleeps 4-6 people).
And guess what? They even allow pets! So go ahead, bring the whole crew and their plus ones for a private weekend of fun. It’s time to get wild!
